Maple Bacon Smokies
These are a highlight of March maple days and don’t last long!
Lil Smokies
Bacon
Brown Sugar
Maple syrup
Toothpicks
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Cut strips of bacon into 3 pieces each. Wrap a piece of bacon around each lil smokie and secure with a toothpick. Place in a lightly oiled baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and/or maple sugar. Drizzle with maple syrup (don’t overdo it). Bake 30-35 mins, until bacon is cooked to desired crispness.
